Who, Me?
Hai, apa khabar? Salam perkenalan!
Saya anak Malaysia. Nama saya Raja Rozela, boleh panggil saya Raja atau Rozela atau Engku. Raj pun boleh tapi tolong jangan panggil saya Rozi/Rosie – geli telinga! Heh.
Kerja saya dakwa orang – betul, tak tipu! Segala jenis penyangak dah saya jumpa di mahkamah, tak terkira. Kerjanya memang stress, sebab itulah saya suka jalan-jalan makan angin, dan sekarang ni, tulis blog. Tukar angin, tukar pandangan, tukar pendapat menenangkan fikiran.
Itu saja yang nak saya katakan. Jengok-jengoklah blog saya yang tak seberapa ni, okay. Jangan risau, tak ada ajaran sesat dalam ni; semua topik ringan-ringan je…! Heh.
*************** 🙂 ***************
Hi, how do you do? So happy to meet you!
I am a Malaysian. My name is Raja Rozela, but you can call me Raja or Rozela or Engku. I answer to Raj as well; but not Rozi/Rosie, please – hurts my eardrums! Heh.
I prosecute criminals for a living – I kid you not! I have dealt with so many kinds of ‘bad guys’ in the courtroom, I’ve lost count of the cases I’ve done. Just like most of the other professions out there, being a prosecutor is stressful. So that’s why I like to travel, and just recently, turn to blogging. Seeing new places and faces, exchanging views, and trading tales help clear the smog in my head a bit.
That’s all I gotta say. I’ll let you go now to explore my little Duniya. Drop by anytime to have a look-see, okay. Don’t worry, ain’t got nothin’ supernatural in here; only feel-good stuff…! Heh.

Love the hammock shot. I have the same kinda pic on my “About Me” page! It’s laid back and relaxed. I think I’ll rummage through your little corner of the web and see what I dig up…

So Raja, I guess you have just become one of The Spikey’s, that small clan of folk known to be followers of Uncle Spike 🙂
Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.
My aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures since the 70′s, as well as day to day happenings on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations on life as I see it. Of course, if you have any suggestions for me, I’d love to hear from you, serious.
In return, I promise not to be overbearing with perhaps 2-3 posts a day tops. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.
Thanks again for your vote of confidence, and hope you have a great day…

Aaww..so so nice of you to drop in, dear nonsmokingladybug! I am well, thank you for asking. I decided to take a break from the net last couple of weeks. I guess I should’ve given a shout-out first. But I’m back now, ever ready and willing to re-join the living! 😀

Duniya ku in hindi roughly means To the world.. Also you use the word Khabar ( news in Urdu).. Your name Raja.. Do you have anyone of Indian origin among your parents?
LikeLike
No, I have no indian roots. I’m Malay, and a descendant of the Perak royal house, hence the title Raja 😉
The Malay language is very much influenced by Sanskrit, Arabic, and even Thai, so I guess that’d explain the tie-in with the Urdu word.
Thanks for dropping in!

Hello Raja, so nice to find your blog. So you are a prosecutor…I can imagine the kinds of people you have to deal with on a daily basis….it’s good to escape into the blogosphere and leave the job behind. Having worked as a therapist, with court referred clients, I’ve seen similar people and know how stressful it is to deal with “that” part of humanity. Be well, Annette

Hi. I’ve been curious about your blog name. Does “duniya” mean “world” ? There is the same word, written as “dünya”, with this definition in Turkish language.
Keep on yours posts; it makes stress go away !

Hello Merquin! Good of you to drop in. Yes, duniya means world, in the Malay language, although the correct spelling is dunia. I added the ‘y’ to spice it up. It’s interesting to note its similar usage in Turkish. We live in a small world after all…?!
Thanks for the encouraging words, come back soon! 🙂
