Have you ever felt like the world is being a bit too rowdy lately? Where things and people kept pushing into your personal space, crowding out your quiet thoughts? At times, it felt like being a refrigerator in a busy kitchen – every other minute there’ll be someone wanting something from you.
So where do you go to get some peace and quiet? What do you do after the “Kitchen’s Closed” sign is up?
For me, there is no better place to unwind than on my bed (or on a train or at Starbucks) – with my coloring book, crayons and color pencils. It’s my happy place. It’s where I go when I need to think; it’s what I do to recharge my life battery pack.
Okay so I am a big kid. So the secret’s out. Whatever. For me, coloring is fun rewarding and it relaxes me. You might say coloring doesn’t pay the bills, and yeah, now I’ll have another temptation to deal with as I navigate in my noble voyage towards productivity. [wink]
But I kinda like to think that it’s never too late to have a happy childhood. Heh.
So pretty!
